The foundation credential. Qualifies you to advise organizations preparing for CMMC, join assessment teams, and speak the framework fluently. The entry point for consultants, MSP staff, compliance leads, and anyone building a CMMC practice.
Certified CMMC Assessor (CCA)
The credential that runs the assessment. CCAs conduct Level 2 assessments with C3PAOs — the most supply-constrained, highest-billing role in the ecosystem. Requires the CCP as a prerequisite.

Common questions
What's the difference between CCP and CCA?
The CCP is the foundational credential — advisor and assessment-team roles. The CCA qualifies you to conduct Level 2 assessments with a C3PAO and requires the CCP first. Most students take CCP, start working, then return for CCA.
Are exam fees included?
No — Cyber AB exam vouchers are purchased separately through the Cyber AB. Our courses prepare you for those exams with authorized materials, practice tests, and instructor exam-strategy sessions.
Do you offer live classes?
Not on a public schedule right now — self-paced enrollment is open year-round and you can start the same day. If you have a team of five or more, we can arrange a private cohort; contact us to discuss.
What are the school's policies?
Lionfish is a state-regulated training school. Our refund policy, complaint/grievance process, and enrollment agreement are available from our team on request and are provided with every enrollment packet — ask us for copies any time.
